Desiree is a red skinned, yellow fleshed potato. These are a good choice for tasty, creamy mashed potato. They also cook well as chips or for roasting.
Ambo potatoes are considered to be the modern equivalent of the old King Edward potatoes. The skins vary in colour, mainly light beige with pinky red patches. The flesh is firm and waxy yet floury with a lovely earthy taste. Great for boiling and roasting, and also baking as they hold their shape well.
Maris Piper potatoes are the most widely grown potatoes here in the UK since 1980. These potatoes have a lovely fluffy texture are a great all rounder suitable for many cooking methods including making chips, roast potatoes and mash.
Washed White potatoes have a smooth creamy coloured skin and white flesh. They have a very even texture, excellent any way you cook them, and the larger ones make great jacket potatoes.
Cyprus potatoes are grown in the mineral soils of the island of Cyprus making them highly nutritious. They are wholesome and tasty potatoes and have a deep yellow, firm and dense flesh with a lovely buttery, earthy and rich flavour.
Suited for all cooking methods.
Baby potatoes, these small washed white potatoes are great boiled and cooled for salads or can be roasted with their skins on.
