Feeding the wild birds through the winter is an important task because this is when birds need to increase energy and body heat to survive through the colder months.
Remember to also provide fresh drinking water and make sure bird feeders are out of reach of cats.
Mixed Seeds
Keep the birds healthy through autumn and winter with our wild bird seed mix. This mix contains wheat, red dari, kibbled maize, white millet, cooked wheat flakes, cut wheat and black sunflower seeds.
Sunflower Hearts
Sunflower hearts are also an excellent autumn and winter bird food as they are packed with energy also the husks are already removed so they leave very little mess.
Peanuts
Always put peanuts in a bird feeder as some birds may choke on a whole nut. Peanuts are a great energy boost and are liked by a variety of birds including woodpeckers starlings and sparrows.
